About 3,500 members of the Service Employees International Union Healthcare Minnesota voted overwhelmingly Tuesday to strike.  After two days of voting, 91 percent supported the strike option.

If the union calls a 2-5 day strike it would affect:

-Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina
-Fairview Riverside Hospital in Minneapolis

While firefighters fought a fire at a home in Brooklyn Park Monday evening, police were arresting two people suspected of starting the fire.

Fire Chief Kenneth T. Prillaman said his firefighters responded to the 7700 block of Hampshire Avenue at 6:42 p.m..
